Yep, same for me, really like the first 2, not that the others aren't ok, just prefer the lighting.
Just as well this is a macro forum, otherwise 3 and 4 would scare the hell out of me at that size :-)

thanks guys, the first two are my favorites too. I tried to get closer but lost light and reaslised my flash batteries were dead!!:rolleyes: so it meant cranking up the ISO and lower the shutter to get any depth of field.

On thet first to the light and dark backgrounds were accidental and caused by the OOF Fence in my back garden. I will probably go hunting for him today if i have any luck finding him again.

I really like the first one. It has good lighting and composition. The last one wound have been my favorite if the lighting was a little less harsh.
