The end of summer

Hello! Wanted to get some opinions on this one. Is the background too distracting? Is it too overexposed? Does it even work??? If so, what could be improved. Thanks so much!

Fascinating - I like it. The background is sufficiently over powered by the subject that it's not distracting to me. It would add if the BG were recognizable. Perhaps a bit lower exposure on the sun? Good idea, good execution.

It definitely works, but agree that the lighting is a little too strong. More of the flower, less of the sun, and it's perfect.

I like it; but I think a more level bg would be better - not perfectly level though - I'd take down the bump on the left and the big rise on the right.

Good idea, seen it before, but that's ok.
It's really tricky to get the exposure right so you can see more of the plant.

Might be better with PP.

Compositionally its a good picture and has nice colors; maybe a bit cliche though...I've seen similar compositions many times before.
