Video and Photo processing rig....not to mention my game machine.

[IMAGE TOO SMALL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]

I just shoved a vcr and dvd player between the TV and monitor to give them some space so I don't get so much interference from the TV....I can't afford MU Metal at this point to block the TV interference.

CDS, just curious (seriously), what do you need 6 motherboards for; you do video?

I could tell you,. but then I would have to kill you :D

Suffice it to say,. they were used for serious network number crunching.. the graphics cards were there only so I could use the standard interface I am used to as opposed to remote desktop alternatives... in the end it was better that way as the remote desktop software would have imposed a performance hit...

VVizard... I like your rack mount server :)
Seems we have some more things in common :)

This has been an interesting thread, and I'm now brave enough to show you mine :-)

My Dell is to the right its a P4 2.6, with 1 GB Ram with 3 hard drives 60 GB, 120 GB and 80 GB and a DVD writer. I do video work and play with my Tivo through this machine. The other machine is an Athlon 566 mhz used strictly for working with the Tivo hard drive. My Thinkpad is on the portable hospital table, which can be carted around the room as needed. Be it ever so humble I call it home :-)

I thought I'd resurrect this old chestnut by showing you this morning's work space. Those are railroad tracks in the background. (cameras in the foreground). It was a beautiful day in the desert, although a teeny bit hazy.

Tehachapi is my second favorite place in the whole world---right behind my recliner. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't share my fascination with either place.

Beautiful white lenses! :)

You've got an awesome setup there.

BTW, is that a windmill farm behind you? I have only seen 2 working windmills in my life, neither of which was very large.
