Let me put one thing straight, I shoot Nikon!.. Well, I always have done but i've also been a member here since owning my first DSLR - It's just a great, informative forum! Anyway, i'm not biased, hope yous aren't either! :)

My first proper car shoot (and first car shoot for years, actually).. Some may recognise them from another forum, or two.

I've got more but that'll do for now. Hopefully have a Morgan to shoot in a few weeks.

Nice shots. I like the cool tone and the look.
I could care less if you shoot with a Canon or a Nikon or what not.
It's the image that counts.

I don't think it matters what you shoot with really (don't look at my sig ;) )

The first image is the strongest although I would suggest losing some of the darkening coming from the top.

Altogether it's a nice series. I think you could lose some contrast in most, it's hard to tell where the tyre ends and the shadow begins, if you catch my drift? Lighting on 3 is a tad iffy.

yup cheers.

yeah the strobe on the left of #3 is a bit direct, could have brushed it over the bodywork a bit more. These are the things you learn and work on for the next shoot! :)

nice shots, most canon users don't care about the Canon vs. Nikon stuff, however I've seen a lot of Nikon shooters (no offense) that are like " oh (condescendingly) you shoot with canon"

I'm jealous that you got that close to THAT car! Nice.

And you must be from and have spent some time in the Philly area.... "yous", you forgot the "guys".;)

I have to say compared to some other large forum like **review.com, :)
This forum which is a brand based forum isn't really into flame wars and Canon vs. Nikon non sense.

POTN is an excellent resource for Canonites and a great resource photography in general.
Just my view. Sorry to hijack the topic here.
