#1 is OK - looks like a vacation snap.

#2 is dark but might be interesting with some light on it.

Neither one say Europe to me.

Your not taking critter shots here, there's no hurry, so stop and consider your composition.

#1, do you want the road in the picture?
#2, you can't make out the subject because the camera metered for the sky.
#4 best of the lot from a technical standpoint and would make a good B&W conversion, but not centered.

You might want to consider "chimping", checking your LCD after every shot to insure you have what you want.
