This '41 Chevy Coupe is Gary's street car & he's put 123,000 miles on it all over the U.S., since 1984! I love it. It's what they were made for... just driving & having fun.

As the '41 Chevy Coupe I posted in a thread earlier this week, he built it all himself. It has a 6:71 blown 468cid big block motor, transmission is turbo 400 pushing a 9" Ford 3.01 rear end for the street. The drag rear end was 3.89

The paint scheme is beautiful. I know nothing about power & muscle ratios', so I cannot comment there.

This I have to agree with. I just wished I had more time to drive mine.
Nice shots too.

what's the go with the primer on the front?

DarnifIknow! I like the idea though. But it would make it easy to touch up an expensive paint job every 20,000 miles, right? ;)

I have a 47 tore apart in the garage I need to get back on.

Take lots of build shots & make a book when you're done.

the paint scheme is too 80s-ish for my taste

I like the one he sold better, but I don't think he really cares? :D
