Until I get some real business, I am blessed to have a very photogenic son to practice with. Here are two from my first sitting in my newly refurbished studio. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Thanks.........John

He is adorable. I like the 2nd one better. The toy in the first one looks too posed- facing head on into the camera and makes me wonder if you were shooting a toy ad. If that was what you were going for then you did it. The 2nd one is just a darling shot. The only thing that throws me off is his missing foot. I think you could have cropped it much tighter his face and the square he is peering through. They both look very nice, but as a portrait, I like the 2nd. Good job :)

John,
The pictures are great. Very enjoyable. I didn't want you to think from my post that I was being critical. I wasn't. He's just so cute, I hate for my attention to be drawn to the toy.

Thanks everyone......pdrow-I didn't take your comments as critical, you made valid points. I really wish I didn't cut his foot off in the second shot. Itried a tightier crop as you suggested and it turned out nice. Thanks again.

John
