Post away, I'll make a note in the original few posts if there's some useful pics down the thread!

Will take them a bit later, I saw your Velcro idea and have grabbed some on mine now, i use the non adhesive stuff. If you want i have an off cut the perfect size for one more bag ide be happy to send you.

Also re the F1, i have an F7 and it is HUGE! Havent used it in a while since it ends up hurting my shoulder when its full

I'm so getting one of these =) Which color would you suggest? I'm an Asian btw :D

All of my Domkes so far have been sand... I quite like it as a colour and it has the additional advantage of being slightly more discreet than the black. Whatever you like, though!

One question...in the pics where you show the body and lenses, could you fit the 135 and 24-70 as shown above that pic, along with say the body on a 70-200/4 or something? It seems like the two lenses fit in there perfect on the sides with enough room in the middle for a third to be mounted on the body.

Can you take a picture of it on your side... so I can see how big it looks on someone. I am wanting to get a smaller bag to carry to football games.

I lack a 70-200 of any sort but I'll give it a shot with a 1D+17-40L if you like to see how that fits... I shouldn't expect it to be much of an issue. I'll repost in here once I get it done. PM me to remind me if I haven't done it in a couple of days :p

Just as soon as someone who's not cameraphobic gets home I'm going to get them to take a photo of it on... conspicuously absent from the review so far. Imho I wouldn't describe it as appearing big on me and I'm not particularly large myself.

Great review Jim. I'd be happy to drop around and let you use my 70-200 as a prop if you like.

I'm starting to think I should have bought one of these instead of the F-803! ;)

I'm quite fond of my own F-3x in olive. Great, subtle color, looks like an older military musette bag, carries my 30D with mounted Tamron 24-135, extra 70-300 IS, 10-22, 430EX, 50mm 1.8 MkI, Sto-Fen diffuser, battery, filters, charger, corded remote, and fresh set of batteries for the flash.

Gets a bit weighty after a while, but holds it all in great fashion and discretely.

Just used mine today for a day in Brisbane. I held:
70-200 f2.8 IS (With nonOEM hood)
1DmkII with 17-40 mounted
1.4TC
580EX II

and plenty of room to spare. Friday i promise my own review of this bag, complete with photos of its at airport security points and on the plane itself showing how inconspicuous is it

Just curious why you got this when the F-2 looks so similar in size? I'm contemplating the F-3x or the F-2, and just looking for some more info on your comparisons :)

Edit: Just for clarification, this is directed to Jon, who posted the comparison photos.

They're not all similar in size once you load them up. The F-2 easily holds twice as much as the F-3x when packed. The F-3x has a slight edge in height, and the outside pockets on it are larger than the ones on the (early production) F-2 in the photo; current F-2 bags have larger outside pockets. The same F-2 over at Cambags.com (external link)

It has a 3/8-1/2" layer of high density foam in the bottom, so your lens is quite safe.
