Hey! No theology! You of all people should know better!

(But yes, I agree with you. Just don't forget our cats.)

Jake, condolences on the loss of a valued family member. As a lifetime dog lover, own three currently, two big ones and a little gal, I know how you feel.

I'm sorry to hear this, Jake. Losing a pet is one of the saddest times. May Roo rest in peace.

Jake, I've never been connected with a pet for any where near that period of time and the pain I felt on them passing was on par with the passing of my parents, so I cannot imagine how you feel right now.

Rest in Peace, Roo

I feel terrible being soo late in replying. She was a wonderful and beautiful companion for you. She was such a constant to your home and life I can't imagine you being without her, her dog pillows surrounding your livingroom and the companionship of a pet that leaves no one lucky enough to have one in their lives having to feel lonely. I hope that your grieving process is helped knowing that she helped you to choose when it was time for her to go.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Reading that piece almost made me a doggie lover. I've been enjoying 'The Dog Whisperer' lately and it's given me a whole new perspective on doggies and their 'owners'. And there are so many in need of good homes and a good pack leader, so when you're ready maybe that's an option.
