Anyone got their Canon 1ds Mark II & Canon 24-70mm f/4L stolen????

There's a guy selling these two for dirt cheap.
He's actually willing to meet in person and only takes cash.
He does not have the box or anything, just the camera lens and charger.

If anyone lost or got the camera stolen before, let me know and tell me where you lost or got it stolen from.

I will give you information about this guy if it matches.

no such thing as a 24-70 f/4L

I wonder if theres any benefit to creating a "Suspicious Ads & Sales" Sticky to report suspicious and possibly stolen equipment for the members? I know I have seen a few quite obviously either stolen or scam ads on kijiji and other online "for sale" sites recently

I wish there was a board for reporting stolen equipments.

My 5d Mark II was stolen from me this past weekend! Please keep an eye out for me too im desperate! It had a 580exII speedlight and 16 gig card with it as well as a canon 28-70 lens 3.5-4.0 that was black and silver. I need your help!

Maybe you should start by gathering up the serial numbers and reporting them to Canon... if they're ever repaired or go through a pawn shop, they'll be flagged, confiscated by the cops, and eventually returned (or so I've read).
