That's not a bad picture that, some real sense of mood in the skies etc. Looks like a fairly difficult scene to expose for too, so you've done really well. Few basic PP tricks would finish it off I think, if you're familiar with the dodge and burn tools, have a tinkle with those.

Biggest one though is your USM (Unsharp Mask) which you need to make sure you do for each different display size. If you're not familiar with it, then look under the filters tab of Photoshop and find Sharpen. USM will be in there. I always find applying it works best if you're viewing the image at 'actual pixels' (found under the view tab) and you can judge from there how much to use. Less is more, apply it til you can see it making a difference, but it shouldn't be OTT. :)

Cheers, Dave.

Thanks for your critique. I really appreciate it.

The reason I post shots occasionally is to learn from responses like the one you have given me.

Photography is a hobby I enjoy. I do not make a living from it nor is it my number 1 recreational activity. But I do get a kick out of taking good shots. I hope to improve as time goes on.

Thanks again - I will be posting more from the trip over the next week or so.
