I posted this in the HDR forum but wanted to post it here as it seems not too many people visit that forum. This is a 9 angle 3 exposure per angle HDR panorama. I am very happy with this but there is always room for improvement.

Any c/c is much appreciated!

My eyes are having a time getting the steps fitting with the rest of the photo for some bizarre reason? Maybe its the more textured steps and leaves compared to the smoothness of the dock and bridge....but the colors and sharpness are as always spot on.
I LOVE the other photo on your site, the dock and the boat.stunning.

I am loving the level of work that you put into this. Rock solid. The only distraction that doesn't work at all for me is the red sign on the gate. You have the great pallet of natural colors working for you, the mossy rocks, work wood, and rusted steel, then you have the red sign. Other than that, something really worth looking at. Congrats!

I agree...perhaps cropping the steps out? I feel like the right side is so beautiful and the steps somehow take away from it.

it's very nice. i like it. Love the composition, DOF, and above all colors on your photos. To me steps go nicly with the photo. They give me the biginning of the photo. dock is the middle, and the brige close whole composition. I also looked at your other photos, and they are great.

Thanks everyone for the critiques and compliments.

I think cropping is the answer here. I love it but something just feels off. I think it is that I originally composed this so that the dock was the center. Then as I was taking the pano I realized the steps could be shot as well.

I love it. I'm on the fence about the steps, certainly wouldn't mind seeing the crop.

What a lovely shot. I think it would be better as Flo suggested to crop the steps though.
Just curious what were your bracket parameters and what focal length did you shoot?

Here is a cropped version:

I like this version. I only wish I would have shot more of the rock on the right to balance out having the steps in the picture. Maybe I will get a chance to revisit this spot soon and re-shoot.

I shot this at -2, 0 and +2 bracketing and @ 10mm focal length.

Much more cohesive now( to me anyways) Your work rarely needs anything done to it ;)( on our side!)

I like your HDR work and think that it is very good, but maybe a bit too much color saturation. The panorama looks sort of like three disconnected subjects -- I like the center portion, but the left doesn't seem to add anything except real estate and the right side with the bridge and spillway doesn't really complement the tranquil scene in the center.

EDIT:
Poof! Did the left side suddenly disappear? Ignore the comment about the left side since it would be confusing now.
