I like the rich saturation you have going here. Definitely better without the steps. my only problem is the slanted boards on the dock leading to the water. My eyes can't get past it for some reason.

The cropped version took away the strangeness of the photo, which I thought added to it. The steps gave it a ying/yang effect to the bridge.
Though I think the execution of the image is quite impressive with or without the steps, the image seems pedestrian without it.
If I was going to crop, I'd crop where the side rock/wall first touches the top step. That keeps those steps curving towards the frame, just my opinion.

Thank you. I like both but I like the first better because it has so much in it. I'll play some more with cropping though.
