Great A/C and lots of full size diaramas too!! Good job on the A-6. The others are a lil dark. See if you can lighten them from RAW. One of the founders of ISAP does the gift books for many of these museums. I'm nolonger using photoshop since I don't own any versions any more. and when I do get photoshop it will be purchased out right.

I thought that they might have been underwater, whatever they are, & wonder why we rescued them from there when we should have been able to find better examples to restore on dry land. I'm not sure either Photosguy, I just know that they are a new exhibit at the Nas air base.

There is a movement within the museum comminity to "re-enact" the last day of an A/C. Visitors to museums are down, and many of the old style displays are getting dry and curators are trying new and more interesting ways to display items onsite. Les Baldwin

Visitors to museums are down, and many of the old style displays are getting dry and curators are trying new and more interesting ways to display items onsite. The costs involved to refurbish an A/C just to display are astronomical. So many museums are opting to preserve the A/C as is without any changes and displaying them that way. I really dislike airplanes on sticks or even worse as bird nests out in the yard. But that happens, due to the number and size of some A/C. Many muesums are opting to show cutaways, so that you can see the construction - destruction and the innards. I will try do dig up some of my shots from there and show you guys. That be very cool and I have some cut away shots if you like to see them.
