Wanted to get some feedback from my shooting. Working with Canon 50D and 70-200L IS, I generally shoot at 2.8. Started working in manual using Color calibration target (Photovision) find it works well in sunny conditions.

This image is more of a common shot so wanted to focus more on the the technique and advice.... Thanks in advance.

This photo is straight from the camera.

works fine... just get lower when shooting kids. Try shooting at their eye level or lower. I have a small camp chair I shoot from that keeps me low when I shoot. Being eye to eye with them adds impact.

Yes this is a nice action shot. If you are going to do anything in the way of post processing I'd clone out the distracting objects in the upper right, especially the 2 out of focus balls.

This shot truly captures the action and tension of the game. Nice job.
