Spooch, I really like the composition on both photos, particularly the first and fourth. They seem very soft to me- what camera/lens are you using, and are you using a tripod?

Thank you. I was usind my friends Fuji FinePix S6500fd digital camera. (not an SLR) It has fixed lens 28-300.6.3 megapixels (10x optical zoom) Taken without a tripod. Had to lay down on the flor for stabilization cause i had long exposure (4-5 sec long). I still don't have my digital SLR but I got my eye on 400D. I also have Analog SLR that I use. Praktica BX20 with 50 mm lens f 1/8, 35 yr's old but takes great photos.
Pictures where taken in RAW format so i used it well. It was also my first time dealing with RAW in photoshop

WOW- that's good for handheld! LOL

Get a cheap tripod- it'll make a huge difference. You can also use a beanbag or just sti the camera on a post or fence or something.

LOL now I see that I didn't explain how i took the pic. it's not a handheld. The bridge was taken by puting camera on a small pillar. For the shoots of the river i had to lay down on the flor and stabilize camera. The exposure was over 4 sec on the first river shoots and on the bridge shoot was 5 sec. Iso was set to 200, f2/8 so that I could capture as more light as i could without getting noise. I'll get the tripod as soon as i colud but i'm broke atm.

A tripod probably wouldn't have made a difference. You may up against the limits of your camera- that's asking a lot from a Finepix. I reckon that you've done a great job with what you had. Now start saving up and get a 30D :-)

"Which one of these isnt like the others?" :) I think you did a great job, something bugs me about the flowers for some reason, I cant put my finger on it though... I really enjoy the night photos though they do look a little blurry or foggy especially the first and last ones. I think the one with the person under the bridge is my fav.

I agree about steadying the camera, looks like there might be some cam movement in some of the night shots. Also if you can control the f-stop set it at f8 and take a longer exposure if necessary. At f 2.8 (wide open) you won't get the sharpest image.
