Should I get the 5DII in Hong Kong ???

I will have a trip to Hong Kong in late Novemeber. I would like to get the 5DII here in the US and use it in Hong Kong. However, I don't think I will be able to get one before I depart for Hong Kong.

My question is ==> should I get one in Hong Kong given that the release date normally is earlier in Asia? Any Pro's and Con's I should be aware when buying camera oversea? Any inputs will be greatly apprecaited.
