The first photo I cant explain. On the second photo I know I should have cut out the railing but your input on every thing else is helpful.

Did you sharpen the second one with Photoshop? Gear: Canon 70D, 18-135mm, 100-400mm L II. C&C welcomed and appreciated.

JMO This could give it a more panaramic look. After holding some paper up to my screen to simulate a crop, I noticed that if you take too much off the sky in the top, you run the risk of centering the buildings of interest, which is a no on (rule of thirds)...so what im trying to say is just remove a bit of sky off the top, it isnt adding anything to the image.
