I'm not understanding how this works...are you just shooting the sky with a long exposure or is there some kind of mod on the camera that is used to bring out that galaxy space thing?

and never mind my last question...I followed the flicker link and saw it. I will have to check that out next time I am up there. Never been to that lake before. We love fishing the The Reservoir, East Walker, Lower Twin and Robinson Creek. Again great pic

Fabulous shot, just how did you get that much detail from a 45s exposure? There must be no light leaking from Earth at all for hundreds of miles or something.
