First, I apologize if I post this in the wrong forum.

For those of you who live in (or can get to easily) the Dallas/Fort Worth area (and more specifically Arlington), I was wondering if you know of good spots to take senior pictures. What I'm looking for is some rustic, old buildings, places with nice textures, that sort of thing. Abandoned places, things of that nature.

More or less, where are some of your favorite places to go to take portraits? I had my senior shots (a few years back) done at Veteran's Park in Arlington, but there are only so many times I can take people there. I'm yearning for something better. Some time soon I'm going to be doing senior shots for my cousin and I'm wanting to take him to some more rustic places. Not necessarily heavy machinery (though that's ok) but something more... "Manly" (if I can say that) than a park with flowers.

Thanks for any advice.

Not sure how much commercial buildings you would want.... but north of Addison

Try: Legacy (going north on the Dallas toll way) and turn right (east). there are new buildings and the Fox sports bar or the Dr pepper stadium with its funky buildings around it ....

just some ideas .... not sure if this is what you where looking for....

Later....
