Been hovering around here for a while.

In the first one, there is a lot of different things to look at. In the other two, the water just leads me thru the images. I assume these are houseboats.... We don't have anything like these in Round Rock. I like the color.

These are all nicely done. You are shooting at 1/60 and 1/80 and if you are hand holding this may be contributing to some image softness. In the good light you have here I'd recommend 1/250.
The first image is a bit too centered. I'd be tempted to clone out some of the bottom part of the river up to the start of the boat reflection. The 2nd is a nice composition and so is the third; but I'd have waited for the duck to get closer to add some interest in the water.

Thanks for the advice, I see what you both mean about the composition being better in the 2nd and 3rd now. Good point on the duck, think I may have one...
These were all handheld so will try out faster shutter speeds next time.

By the way how can you tell from the image what settings are used?
