What happened to the nice weather from the weekend? The poor models today had goosebumps all over, but they'll be happy with the shots Im sure. There were some killer shots, I cant wait to see them.

As requested, here's one Julian. The cold really was a problem today. There are better ones than this, but I wanted to see how this kind of toning looks. I like it.

That turned out quite nicely, Perry. Keep them coming:D

How did the behind the scenes stuff turn out? It was fun shooting with the Mark III, thanks.

My girl was a trooper today.
asked her twice if she wanted to reschedule, she turned it down.

ooohhhh kay, so I took her out to an open field to do the stuff she wanted. It was FREEZING and she gave me her best effort. Can't really complain :)

Hey perry, got a question for ya.

how do you fix the red blotches from the skin due to the exposure to the cold.

Either clone tool set to lighten at 20% opacity, healing brush, or: duplicate layer, run a heavy high pass filter, light gaussian blur, invert, set blending mode to linear light, make a black mask and paint with a 25% white brush.

Oh she was cold I'm sure.

At first I didn't want to shoot with the leggings, but with the gust it was just a recipe for wardrobe malfunction so I told her to put it back on and I'll work with it.

I'll have to say, despite the wind and temperature, it acutally didn't go that bad. Not a word of complaint from her.

She had 3 jackets on; 2 from me and 1 of hers.

her hair colour is to die for to shoot.

No way her hair is actually that blonde - you jacked up the yellows in post right?

I love the dress, that with the little bracelets and the sky, couple with the yellow in her pants, hair, and the grass...beautiful man.

Gold reflector camera right for a bit of fill.

Her hair is sick. One look at it and you'll know if you catch the right light, it'll be absolutely breath-taking.

I did some post on the pic, but straight off the camera the hair is already pretty amazing.

Those are cool shots Perry and Cyril, you guys are really troopers, I would have just stayed shooting indoors :) I cannot wait until the decent weather stays so I can finally start scheduling some shoots outdoors, I have a list of cool places within 3 hours driving distance from the city I want to do this year.

So I think I will finally close the indoor shooting sessions this weekend; I rented Studio 1 with a good friend of mine and we are shooting 10 girls that want to enter the Maxim Hometown Hotties contest, so it will be a pretty hectic Saturday and Sunday, I think I will just be post-processing pictures for the rest of the month of April :)

Nowadays I shoot Nikon, but deep inside I am still a Canon lover... plus Nikonians don't have a cool place to hang like POTN :)
