Yeah totally those broken poses are a big thing in fashion :) I do not see the retro look, looks modern to me. Btw nice MUA job :)

Nowadays I shoot Nikon, but deep inside I am still a Canon lover... plus Nikonians don't have a cool place to hang like POTN :)

I hope the weather is good for you down there, Shawn.

Well there weren't too many birds today. Some waterfowl, a chickadee and a couple of great horned owls. The owls made the trip, but otherwise it was pretty deserted. We did better than all of the people we talked to, though we missed the rabbit that some saw. Haven't had a chance to look over the shots yet, but Im sure something will be posted soon.

Maybe we can do the zoo next weekend? Did you make it there this weekend, Norm?

Unfortunate to hear about the lack of wildlife :(

I spent some time reading about RED's systems today and teetering on ditching the Mk3 in favour of a http://www.red.com/epic_scarlet/ (external link) heh. I also finally got confirmation on some last parts I was tracking down for my PC build which should arrive in the next few weeks and look something like this http://www.hardwarezone.com …ticles/2008/2577/cm05.jpg (external link) except all black.

I'm anxious to actually try and do some compositing/editing on the machine and see if my hard-drive choices were wise ones.

This is my new favourite song btw, I wish I could find it on iTunes and add it to my iPhone: http://www.youtube.com …GLNU&feature=channel_page (external link)

Nah, Scarlet is supposedly due out spring/summer this year but I'll believe it when I see it. The Scarlet brain is WAY smaller than the RED ONE which is a f***ing monster fully kitted out! The epic just doesn't interest me, way out of budget range and the damn kit pieces for that are so overpriced.
