I like some of 'em, yeah. I f-ed up the processing the first time round, so I'll give 'em another spin tomorrow. I've got some lovely shots of that chickadee, and the owl shots ain't bad at all.

Beautiful, Brian! You didn't need to tell us that was with the 85L ;), only one lens, in the right hands, can make images like that.

Well, the 85L in the right hands is a great lens (say yours, Perry's for instance).

Nice pics Brian, wow that DOF is super thin with the 85 @1.2, must be hard to learn how to control it.

Wow Simona, are you really getting an 85L? That glass on the 5DMkII will be amazing, the perfect portraiture combo. I wish I had $5K kicking around to get it :)

Nowadays I shoot Nikon, but deep inside I am still a Canon lover... plus Nikonians don't have a cool place to hang like POTN :)

Yep, I'm picking it up tonight! Found it used on Fred Miranda (local sale). I can't wait to try it out!

Now I have to sell my 6 week old 85 1.8.

Thanks Rafael......ya it's not too bad, I find it much easier to use on the 1 series body as opposed to the 5D's.
