I would like to upgrade from PS 7 to CS4 but find nothing on Adobe website. Has anyone attempted this quantum leap recently?

You can't, Adobe has a three steps back policy so you can only get CS4 for upgrade prices if you have CS, CS2 or CS3.

You may be able to get a 7 to CS3 upgrade somewhere and then a CS3 to CS4 upgrade but it may end up costing you the same as a full copy of CS4.

Thinking out of the box for a sec: You *might* be able to get CS3, with included free upgrade to CS4. Got a mailing about that around the introduction date of CS4.
Not sure if they still sell them though... Also not sure if that would work, but might be worth a try...

I believe that Adobe said that October 15 was the last day to buy CS3 and get the free upgrade to CS4. I had an email to that effect but have since long deleted it.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
