I've just been looking at your threads, I take it they were shot on the same day, in the same place hence the boring locations?

Some of your light painting is excellent, like in the detail shots. However, the more obvious the painting, such as the first, sixth and last, the less effective it is. It looks bad, as if somebody has sprayed the car white in places.

Take the car outside to a proper location at a good time of day. I'm sure the results will be a hundred times better!

All the good spots for light painting are - well, I haven't found any so far. I'm still looking.

There was a nice spot which overlooked the CBD at night, but it's fenced off now. Other spots are too bright or are just as boring.

The location for this shoot was an unoccupied warehouse. I tried to keep the foreground-background distance uniform, to have a black backdrop to work with, but between cbf moving the cars, to carbon monoxide poisoning, got lazy

I saw, there's nowhere exciting near where that car lives, it's only insured at the workshop. :) hasn't been complied yet.

It's not a matte paint job... and it's not a dent on the front quarter, it's just a dark spot where I must have blocked the light with the softbox for too long.
