You make very smooth images and have a nice style, but I don't like the way you light your images. Like said before, I've see white lines everywhere and it looks like the car got dents all over the place. The first picture is quite good, but the others look quite horrible.

Your composition and exposures are very good, don't get me wrong. Just use a flash in a softbox or do it like John Jovic, http://www.rigshots.com.au/cl_074.htm (external link)

Problem is that my light source is very small and nowhere near powerful as that Cree one (will ask Jon where he got it from... Jon, if you're reading, beat me to it and tell me!) so I have to get in VERY close with the softbox and lamp. Hence the swirls.

Yeah, but next time try some shots with your 580EX in a softbox. Just try it, I think the result is better.

I really like your lighting style, Tangcla. Do you sell your pics to mags and other kind of publications?? The white lines are strange, but strange is not always a bad thing...

Fantastic car. However, it looks like the paint has been rubbed with a brillo pad and is full of hazy scratches. Is this caused by your lighting setup?

No :) it's very uncomfortable to get in and out of.

I am paid by the car owners, and as a bit of a bonus I occasionally sell prints.

Yes, the swirly white bits are light reflections.

With the roof on, they are a bit tricky to get in and out of, take the roof off though and its easy :)

The K24 is a bit different, most people use the K20A from the Type R Civic.
There is one here making an easy 240hp.

Thanks :) it's a nice niche market, and since cars are a hobby of mine, it's win-win :)

I don't sell many prints, I don't usually push it. I should try hard selling... :p

You mean the owners pay you to photograph their cars! How did you get into that?

Car clubs... evidence of work... vain owners of showponies... you know, stuff like that :)
