The top part of my lens (the area between the focus ring and the font element) is wobbling a bit. It does not feel as if it will pop off, but it is worrying me. Is this normal to happen over time and use?

Had the lens for about 18 months.

Just checked mine (12 months old, light usage) and it's solid.

Mine wobbles, but it doesnt seem to affect anything. Had it about 2 years and its been like that for a while. not sure how it happens but i wouldnt worry about it. If its like mine, the glass elements dont move inside.

I've had mine for just over a year. I was just inspecting it for this issue and it is solid... does not give at all.
