I really like them. The turf color almost overpowers the first two shots, but the action you captured is great. Are they cropped? I just started shooting the sport and am really enjoying it so far (well, at least the turf games -- a bit slow on grass). Look forward to viewing more. Thanks for sharing.

Yes i think they were cropped, this was such a long time ago, a year to almost be exact haha i am posting a new field hockey thread as we speak with some college hockey. Its by far one of my favorite sports to shoot.

#1 has cool facial expressions, but 1 and 2 just seem soft. #3 looks snap on in focus and color. One thing I like, that most people do not like, or maybe do not understand is ... that autumn yellow you get from the sun on late days this time of year. I looks to me as you may have tried to correct that in 1,2 & 4.

In comparison to your VCU-Monmouth fotos (and I am sure you know this) your college FH shots are much much better. I am just curious if you know what there was a difference?
