This is really my first time playing around with my photos in Photoshop. I mostly just changed highlights/shadows and levels. I'm not sure what really else to do with these 4 pics. I appreciate your feedback.

A bit too blue, and a bit to much contrast. Your lights look a bit overblown. Tone those two things down just a bit. Personally, I like the original much better. Nice shoot. Great ships, or whatever they are.

#1 has good exposure and good lighting.

#2 is a little over-exposed in my opinion. However, that's a judgement call and others may think it's fine.

I'm more worried that it looks like you might be shooting a little into the sun, which must have been almost directly above.

I'm also trying to figure out how that flag got up into the middle of the cloud.

Thanks for the tips.
haha I'm not too sure about that flag either.. maybe it's a kite, but I don't see any strings.

I didn't think of that - you're probably right. It does have an attitude that agrees with the prevailing wind direction as indicated by all the other flags in view.

both versions have their place. the altered one looks very cartoonish. i like to do that surreal look on a lot of my pictures as well.
