A park is a public place, for the public to enjoy. This seems to be a lot of fuss over very little. How miserable of you to decline someone else's enjoyment of a public space!
And I believe JeffreyG's first post was a perspective.

No one is understanding this thread, and that's exactly what I should have expected. I understand the thread, but you're overreacting to the situation. SAY NO TO SPEC WORK!

Hmmm. Maybe. After all you did come onto a photography forum to complain about . . . photographers. Good luck with that. Robert.

Deep breath...waiting to cross a bridge gave you a few extra minutes to find something beautiful about the surroundings you were in. Blog

Who are they that they get preferential treatment over anyone else? Lots of people get married, lots of people have kids, etc. Don't F my day up because you didn't start taking pictures before I got there to enjoy MYSELF. Perhaps if you had used that 10 min wait to calmly observe what was going on, you might have learned something (photographically speaking). Tim

That's fine and all, but they were taking up sidewalks and bridges that I wanted to walk on. At one point I had to wait 10 minutes to cross a bridge before they were done with a shot. At another point I was asked to move from a spot I wanted to be in so I didn't ruin their picture. I would have said FU I will move when im good and ready. .....
