Ditto... and I will one day. It costs a lot of money - but what an experience!!

Would I admit it if I did? ;-)a

No, but if you did so, Riley probably made a video and posted it to YouTube...:lol:

After shooting with you on Sunday and listening to the speed of the Mark IIn, and then seeing the shot you got of the heron taking off from the slough, I think you should consider hanging on to it!

That's quite a list there. Mine is only about a third as long. Stuff I've sold/traded:
XTi
18-55 kit lens
50 f/1.8
100mm f/2.8
17-85 IS
17-40L
70-200 f/4L
28-80L
50 f/1.4 (borrowed)
Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 (borrowed)
Tamron 28-75 f/2.8
Contax Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 80-200mm f/4
Contax Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f/1.4
Kenko tubes
Another XTi (soon to be sold)
Sigma 10-20 (soon to be sold)

When I borrowed my cousin's 50 f/1.4 I was very nearly tempted into getting one, but so far I've been able to resist the temptation. I don't find myself needing that focal length much. I'll be shooting with him this weekend, so I'll get a chance to play around with it a little more.

Thanks, now i want cheese!

hehehe, dinner was nice:D, I varied it a little, added a bit of garlic and ginger and soy sauce, and substituted fruit of the forest for the raspberry.

Written out like that it's not much of the same recipe is it.

I liked and the kids liked it, so that's all that matters.

Wow, Feng. That's some weather front. I take it you're on the wrong side of all that color?

I'm on the front edge of it... we've got it all to come :(

but it's no where near as bad as the one on Sunday which made international news (even my folks heard about it!! :))

I just try to spare a thought for those in a suburb called 'the gap' who still are repairing, and just recovering from the Sunday storm (worst since 1980 apparently).

Intense. From drought to all this. Hope it steadies out for you.

Over here, we get the occasional storm that rocks our world, but for the most part, it's just a slow steady rain that lasts for months.

yeah same... but in all seriousness... we do need the rain... and the good news is the heaviest falls will add to the rains over the dams and should give us plenty of decent rainfall in the catchment areas.

Hey Feng...Howdy Cap'n

At least I don't see any tornados on today's radar....they were pretty obvious on the one the other day.
