I'll do you one better, I'll take that tc off your hands for the greatest gift of all. A child's laughter. (Family Guy reference) Pm me for my phone number if you're interested. I've got the laughter just sitting here waiting.

My daughter can do that already....hehehe I can't believe she didn't snag the TC while she was here in August...

well, just dipping my toes into the DSLR stuff...there is so much i'd love to get....but i have to use my brains, and not go mental splurging all out on i don't even know what...

I could do with a few lenses (1 wide, 1 telescopic for now ;)), a tripod & head, a decent bag, a grip, memory cards, a computer, some software (also someone gave me a code for one so thanks)....it just adds up. Since I got my camera i've bought 2 memory cards, and that is all...oh and the CPL. The rest can wait till I have some flash cash to spend....until then, I am bug-eyed at the B&H website/catalogue at home going "ooh & ahh"

it's true...if you have a good 100-400 then maybe going prime isn't necc. The expense is considerable.

400mm is still too small for me... I had the Bigma @ 500mm and that was too small at times... either a Canon 500mm w/1.4x TC or a 600mm w/1.4x TC would be amazing.. one day... one day...

I wish my parents were into photography. My dad used to shoot when he was younger. He got me started on his old Canon A1 as soon as I my arms were strong enough to hold it up (body and lens are full metal construction), which I still use on occasion. Now the fanciest gear he has is the point and shoot my siblings and I got him for Father's Day. Though, admittedly it's an awesome point and shoot.

Then we have the executives at AIG still going on fancy junkets...even after taking bailout money...

Though in a round-about way, they contribute to the hospitality industry by supporting the resorts ;-)a

And the execs from the big 3....flying to DC on private jets at a cost of 10s of thousands of dollars....begging for money from the government. No scruples. no morals. A sad commentary on our society.

Heh, and no management skills... opps, did I just say that?

I like the 300 clean, w/1.4 and 2x. So I'm content. Plus the 500 is too heavy for me.

The big C in the center of all the pictures is really distracting to me. Maybe you can make the watermark a little smaller and out of the way? Some great shots there though.

Short answer is - if something is on the Internet, it can be grabbed. No matter what you do for coding, etc - someone can still get it somehow. The trick is to not upload the best resolution photos - if someone downloads a 800x533px file @ 72dpi, they won't be able to make great 8x10 and above prints...

4x6 and 5x7? Maybe... but nothing above that.

interesting to know that.

Some people disable "Right Click" - but I know of ways to get past that... some people use flash, but I have a Print Screen button and can take a screenshot and crop - but the quality isn't going to be too hot.

If someone saves it to their desktop for use a a background, cool - no biggie.. if someone wants to make a grainy 8x10, no biggie.. I care more about selling large photos... 8x10? TINY!
