Nice job! The David Jrs are growing like weeds! I see the Junior in your lap has your sunny disposition.:lol:

That's his "cheese" face. He's got a great smile, but when the camera comes out, that's the one we get.

Jennifer, they aren't bad. The lighting seems a bit harsh. Is there any way you can tone it down a bit? I'm also wondering if they're over-sharpened a tad. The white spots on santa's coat are what suggests that to me. But I'm far from an expert on that.

Thank you for some feedback!! How would I tone down lighting... I was in a pea soup colored area... when I didn't have the flash point directly at them, it was funky lighting that just didn't work... The white spots are lint... I might take a couple and clone that out... but these are being emailed to parents so I'm not putting in a whole lot of work for them... :p but I've not sharpened them...

I came in to my office instead of my laptop to look at your shots.

Jen - I think the exposure in the first is better than the second. The second looks a touch over exposed. The wall behind them comes out differently in each shot, and in the second Santa's coloration seems a bit washed out. It's not the ideal color for a background with Santa, but I don't imagine you had much control over that. I'm sure that also would have played havoc with any chance of bouncing the flash.

I'm tired of Gary Fairhead posting shots of his trained pet Snowy Owl.
