Ah, quiet morning hours, before the world wakes up. Stillness of the pre-day. I enjoy the sounds of Nature slowly getting ready for the day.

And the sounds of my dog chewing on my photo vest. Again.

Oh dear! chewing on a photo vest is NOT a good thing!!!

Oh, you know what?! That photo is hidden in smuggy! D'OH!

How about this?

QUOTED IMAGE

I don't typically use that feature, but this couple wanted to limit their choices and not get overwhelmed.

Oh, that photo. Mr. Meany-Beefy-Head strikes again! What was this about, any way?

Seriously, a nice shot.

Synch speed? That is......?? I was underexposing... purely accidental mind you because I had taken this photo earlier in the morning....

Basically, your shutter is two curtains moving over the sensor. The first curtain uncovers the sensor. The second one follows the first by whatever your shutter speed was and covers it up again. Since the duration of your flash is only around 1/1000 sec. or less, it has to fire when the entire sensor is uncovered or you'll get a picture of the size of the shutter gap. So sync speed is the fastest shutter speed where the flash will be "seen" by the whole sensor.

Either the light of day made that clearer or how it was explained... either way... I get it! ;)

Remember, if they give you the taser warning -- comply! You DO NOT want to go there!

According to my ex... whom I would've liked to have seen tased.... he only screamed like a little girl briefly.... When you get certified to carry a taser you have to be on the receiving end!
