Mike I sincerely do not mean that anyone here couldn't do as good a job or much better. And I DO like canon gear. I'm just sharing my shots and discoveries with you guys cuz you're my friends, not because I think nikon is better. Honestly. If it makes ANY of you feel that I'm doing that, I will not post anymore of anything.

Oh dear....Lisa....you gotta know this crowd is going to give you the business. Just cuz we can! hehehe;)

Lisa, could you get Dan to post an example of his gummy bear shots I was trying to explain it to Bailey and all the old posts don't have the pictures anymore (he must have moved them).

Long time, no moooooo.

Hey!! We just had a little excitement here. There was a 5.0 earthquake in San Bernardino just a couple minutes ago. We were hopping around pretty good here for a few moments.

I sort of miss earthquakes, in a tired of floods and snowstorms, but not ever going to need to go back to hurricanes and tornadoes, sort of way.

5.0 is plenty big enough, though. Too much more and things start to get real serious.

belmondo wrote in post #7036229 (external link)
It's karma.

I'm wearing my new wristwatch, and I think the gods are angry.

I purchased a Patek Philippe 'Grand Complication' Chronograph yesterday. The manufacturer's suggested list price is $299,000. I bought it from a guy who was parked outside the bank and was selling this out of his trunk for $30.00. He said he had too many of them in stock, and was willing to give up $298,970 just to move the inventory.

Hopefully he will use the $30 towards getting his teeth fixed.

Do you think I got a deal?

Did he happen to have any cameras for sale?

belmondo wrote in post #7036268 (external link)
I've been ripped off. I found a place selling them online for only $218,900.

This is the watch.

For that, it had better come with someone to read the time to me in case I'm too tired to lift my arm.

Hope all is well, Chief, with no big aftershocks.

The roofers will be here tomorrow to replace half of my roof.

I hope that the insurance company is treating you well, Chris.

Nice shot, John.

tsk, tsk... bah, well we lost that one for ourselves. We just plain stunk.... *off crying in corner*

Decent game -- though a long ways from what most people expected.

I'll have to admit that I still look back fondly on the Sooner Schooner Orange Bowl fiasco against the Huskies.

Heckuva good basketball game tonight up hear in Seattle. My throat hurts. But, I won Fan of the Game, so I got a jersey and a basketball autographed by the whole team. :D

That's cool! Please tell me you didn't have to paint yourself purple to win that. ;)

Which is pretty much what your post has me saying. Hi...welcome to Tupperville...strange way to enter.

She's been here before -- briefly, a while back. I don't know anything at all about that website, though, so I don't know what to think of it. I can see a few spouses who'd probably like B&H and/or Amazon to have a similar offer, though.

Thanks Dan! Those are great, I might just have to give it a try myself this weekend.

(If Scott doesn't mind me babysitting his OCF gear for a while longer :-D).
