hey guys...I was just doing some playing with the new lenses...getting a kick out of MF (I'm a dork I know)

I took the filter off the 105 and it made the world of difference (again no processing...I used flash...and as a side note the cute little sb400 makes for a great macro flash...)

sooc (converted to jpg...all lightroom parameters at zero)
http://lcimages.zenfolio.com/img/v3/p319605961-4.jpg (external link)

almost 100% (I think this is a pretty darn nice 100%)
http://lcimages.zenfolio.com/img/v6/p283996975-4.jpg (external link)

and some macros with the 55 at F3.5

100% (isn't this cool?? Come on ...it won't hurt you to be happy for me ;) )
http://lcimages.zenfolio.com/img/v6/p302597959-4.jpg (external link)

and just one with the macro cuz I like it

I'm pleased to see your having so much fun with your new system. I can't wait to see what your first wedding with the Nikons looks like.

Since we were treated to a reprise of Dan's Gummi Bear shots...

The military has a device called a SPIE rig, for Special Purpose Insertion and Extraction. It's used by unconventional forces such as EOD and SEALS. It's basically a rig to lift them by helicopter...

So, with that explanation in mind, I give you...

Oregonians...we were at the camera store in Dallas today. They sell a lot of older lenses etc....anyway they are having a garage sale tomorrow...bunches of older cameras lenses and misc stuff. Just thought I'd mention it.

Isn't that the greatest little shop. So much for such a small town. And thanks for the mention.

Thanks Dan! Those are great, I might just have to give it a try myself this weekend.

(If Scott doesn't mind me babysitting his OCF gear for a while longer ).

He won't mind. He never uses it.

Howdy everyone. I have been working major overtime so I haven't had a chance to stop in until now. I hope everyone is doing ok.

Where is this camera shop in Dallas Permie? My Mom lives out that direction so I might have to take a drive out that way and see what I didn't know I needed.
