Howdy everyone. I have been working major overtime so I haven't had a chance to stop in until now. I hope everyone is doing ok.

Where is this camera shop in Dallas Permie? My Mom lives out that direction so I might have to take a drive out that way and see what I didn't know I needed.

Howdy late night moo!

Thanks Wool. Time for me to find my pillow and have a long talk with it before I head out to the dog park in the morning. These long hours at work are no fun and we have at least a couple more weeks of this.

Yep, same for me, time to spend some quality time with the pillow. Gotta get up and head down and stand in line for another basketball game. It starts at 3pm, so I'll probably get there around 10am. Only five hours early this time.

At least the weather should be decent for your wait. :D

I've just spent the last couple of hours trying to sort through a school district budget, line by line, to try to parse out a small subset of funds that really isn't broken out in any meaningful way. The end result of all my struggles -- it wasn't possible using any of the publicly available information, and there's a lot of it, out there.

Now I've got a headache -- it's way too late, and I'm no better off than I was when I started.:cry::confused:

I'm pleased to see your having so much fun with your new system. I can't wait to see what your first wedding with the Nikons looks like.

Since we were treated to a reprise of Dan's Gummi Bear shots...

The military has a device called a SPIE rig, for Special Purpose Insertion and Extraction. It's used by unconventional forces such as EOD and SEALS. It's basically a rig to lift them by helicopter...

So, with that explanation in mind, I give you...

Not as good as Dan's, but fun anyway...

That's totally AWESOME John!!!! I love it! :D

Thanks for the information Puddle. Who needs directions when when your packing the gps unit. LOL

Since you guys won't tell me where you live so I can come steal Kona, I am off to the dog park to see if I can find any unsuspecting puppy owners that aren't watching their babies close enough.

Thanks, but I don't think a cat would live very long here. Especially if it decided to run from the big dogs.

Did anyone hear if Jon took his new baby shooting today?

Got dragged off shopping (travel literature, groceries, and bank) right after I got everything unpacked. And today's cloudy with anticipated rain. So I sat out on the front porch and monitored the bird feeders.

These are 100% crops of the unprocessed Small JPEGs -

Pine Siskins (at 300 mm, ISO 800)

This was the first time I've seen Pine Siskins here - may be a storm driving them south. Yeah. I like this lens.
