It is so awesome to see all of your impressive work. I need shoot a lot more birds if i am ever gonna get it right. CC very welcome.

Love the colours/reflections in the first one..
For BIF I try for 1/1000 and higher.

Looks real good to me. BIF can be shot at a number of speeds. I generally use Av Mode, AI Servo and high speed burst and center point focus. Practice a bit on cars, birds, planes, anything that is moving, and keep the center focus point on the subject. It doesn't take long to get it. Set the aperture to allow for a faster shutter speed, but again, if a large bird is flying across from side to side, and you are tracking it, it is effectively not moving at all in relation to the sensor, so you don't need blister fast shutter speeds. Just enough to stop wing action, or not. Sometimes wingtip blur looks good.
