I have read loads of posts (new here first post) about the application of both devices. I have read some people using MRX-14ex for indoor candid shots etc. as well as the rayflash.
I understand the guide for the MRX-14ex indicates the application is soley for macro?
Knowing the Rayflash was developed to use on the flash unit itself and its application is straightforward; would i be better off getting an MRX-14ex to use for portraits, candids, etc (hence making it work as some people here have obviously done) or just spring for the Rayflash?
