Good Morning, All :-)

Great game last night...one for the ages...I am sad the Cardinals lost...what a Cinderella Team. I hope to see them back next year.

We almost got to 60 degrees yesterday...today it is cold again with snow flurries tonight :)

Maureen, your bird shots are just wonderful. Was that a piece of fabric in the claw? Seeing that really put into perspective just how really small the little birds really are.

Morning, Jim. I'm off to do errands today. I called Penn Camera Saturday and they said they can't keep the 5D II's in stock. They have a huge waiting list. I called B&H, they are backordered, Amazon is not shipping for 2 months and Adorama had some but I was too late.

I got it early 2008 for soccer, but it is a wonderful lens for just about anything. I love it. So, I am keeping the 70-200 2.8 IS and selling the f4. I am keeping the 100-400, 24-70, 17-40 and maybe getting an UWA soon. But the 5D will be on order today.

Very nice...I have to off load a lens or 2 myself. I have the lens baby 3g....just never quite figured it out. Not keeping the 75-300 or the extra 50 1.8...so will see if I can get someone around here to buy them.

Mine was ok... shot a senior portrait session on Saturday. I was also supposed to shoot a boudoir session, but she rescheduled for Thursday. I was also supposed to have a wedding consultation on Saturday, but the couple never showed. I called and left a voice mail for them too. I just got an email a few hours ago saying they booked with someone else, and they're sorry they didn't show and they hope it wasn't an inconvenience... of course it's not an inconvenience... my time isn't worth a penny, right? sheesh...

Sunday I had another wedding consult, and this time the couple showed up. ;)

Well, I ended up eating lunch at home. Nathan's hot dog and half a ham and cheese sandwich with Dorritos from last night. Oh, I loved that funny commercials during the Super Bowl.

Doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I will be happy to stick with portrait photography and as of now that is about all I am going to be doing. Just had a model comment on a photos I took last year. Told to have the model do a different pose or facial expression while covering her breasts.

Funny thing is, this model that made the comment wants to work with me but wants it for free....and she just started modeling herself....funny don't you think.....bw!:p

Edit: he just emailed me back and explained a few tings...said they were more portrait type and not commercial...means he liked them but not what they are looking for. Makes me good....hehe. Either way..no more mag submissions for me.

portraits are much easier anyway IMO

I did a maternity shoot a few weeks ago and by the time I was done with PP on the semi nude ones I wanted to punch the computer screen. Model and nudes require way to much work for me.

Nudes seem to be easy for me...less clothes and make-up to deal with. I am about to offer some maternity Tf shoots to build the port back up and some additional portraits...think I am going to imit my MM with models...tired of the flakey ness.
