Hey, Jim, I want to go out with you and Elaine sometime. I guess we definitely need to do the Cheese Cake Factory next Sat.! :) Yum. That Tuxedo is mine!

Mmmmmmm. Orange Chicken.

We have a Cheesecake Factory near us, but this time of year when the snowbirds are in town, there's always a long line.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Well?

So I heard on the news this morning that it's going to be 70 in St. Louis today. Bet you're out laying by a pool somewhere drinking a PiƱa Colada.

It was a margarita strawberry! LOL

Nice to see you Tom!!!

Hi everyone...

taking my grandson and family to a park for some pictures, they leave tomorrow morning...

I'm going to need a bucket to cry in! The longest move ever and mother daughter separation has finally begun!

Good morning people! Happy Sunday!:D
It's a beautiful day here, should I hope for spring?

Not much happening today for me, easy relaxing day ahead. My son is coming over so we can split and haul some firewood to my mom, then we are all going out to dinner at our wonderful Chinese restaurant, yummy!

Hope everyone is good.

I'm assuming Dashed=you don't get to do it? :(

That's a let down! A fire place is no fun! Maybe you can get some crazybooth stuff from the guests during a slow time?

These kids didn't think it sounded to great but humored me with it. When they saw them, they loved them!

WOW 11 hours is not a full day!? That's a long day to go without some craziness!

How about a few during each phase? Are you planning on actually setting up a booth for the "crazy" photos? My thoughts......I am not planning on having an actual booth, just whatever solid colored wall I can use(hopefully white) and I will get people to do their "crazy" stuff hopefully without the B&G seeing what each is doing then when they get their images back they can have a surprise and a laugh. I think this will be a huge hit here. Whenever I do the group shots where the wedding party, family, or parents are told to stand behind the B&G so they can't see what they're doing and tell them to do something crazy, the B&G and everyone(unless they are sticks in the mud) always LOVE those shots. But that's here where we all seem to be a bit psycho!:p

I'm going to give it a try.

some weddings are 08.00-00.00 or 01.00, so finishing at 19.00 is early :)

effectively i'll have between 15:30-17:00 to try and get the group shots and the fireplace shots in.. i'm going to scout the hotel later this week

Okay Kathy those are good, what is your set up?

I won't have a "booth" , just a quiet corner and paper!

Booth, that's interesting. I was considering putting a P&S and setting it off with a remote and letting people take their own pictures once. But, I gave that up. It was too complicated. Booth would be interesting.

That's a long day. I don't envy you. In about 2 months I'll have 3 weddings in a row. Glad my friend Jim is helping.

How are you all today?

I'm meeting my friend to give her the 5D in the morning. It's sad, but a done deal.

Thanks! I had fun doing them!

My "set up" was an off white wall in my house I just had my flash and camera on a flip bracket and I turned the flash head around so it was pointing behind me at a 45 angle and bounced it off an off white wall behind me. No paper, no lights, no booth. Works for me.:D I have some 2' by 3' pieces of white foam board that I want to figure out a way to take along and somehow stand behind me for bounce, something simple & light, not sure how yet....any ideas?

I'm good today, it's been very relaxing today, no shoots and I just did fun stuff.

Why are you parting with your 5D ?
