Do you use fill flash? Most of the time I use Av, aperture priority and I set the exposure up 1/3 because I find that Av under exposes a lot of the time. I almost always use fill flash, 580EX set on high speed sync if I am in Av. Sometimes if I don't have enough light to get a fast enough shutter speed, I will shoot in Tv and set according to how much motion I need to stop. I seldom use manual anymore, to much trouble with fast action children! lol Kathy H
