Evening to all :) Been very busy day...we just got from a late dinner and a subsequent grocery run for tomorrow. Easter ham and all the trimmings at my daughter's house.

I'm going to curl up with a good J.D. Robb mystery for an hour or so then off to dreamland :)

I just spent another day in the car. Now, Lois wants to go to the casino. Fortunately, her brother will drive her down, and I'll sit around the house till I receive the call to go get her.

Ahhhh. Quiet time.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Did Lois win anything?

Evening all! I'm still about 2 hours from finishing the cleaning.

Nice shots, Mo. I loved the shot of the keys. We went to Monticello yesterday. I'll post a few later. They don't allow photography inside the house at all.

She's probably not there yet. They just left here a few minutes ago.

My sister Judy and I are doing a half-marathon in October. Today we started training for it...5 miles. Tonight I can eat! :)

I got a phone call from my boss this morning with some very disheartening news. When I was hired by my present employer in August, I was able to have two interviews with the program manager (the head honcho) before a very tragic event happened three days before my start date.

My brain is all over the place, but here is the story the local paper published. They have since done a front cover spread with more information but I do not know where that article is.

http://www.wyomingnews.com …news/19local_10-05-08.txt (external link)

At any rate, Lynette passed away this morning. The gentleman who ran into Lynette is my mom's childhood neighbor's son. Small world... We had been speaking with my mom's childhood neighbor earlier last year as she is a realtor - when we were looking into houses.

I guess closure has come for Steve, if that's what you want to call it - at least she isnt suffering now, and it has been a rough road. I just saw him yesterday at a commander's call, doing a speech in front of the squadron about DUI's and the effect they can have. He lost his daughter early last year due to a medical condition, and only has his son now. He's a retired Chief from the AF.

Jeff, that's just so sad, but yes, she is suffering no more. Thank heaven for that. I hope your employer is doing okay.

That is very sad, indeed.

We found out two different women we know have lumps in their breasts, and are both being biopsied next week.

Two friends in one day---yesterday was not a particularly good friday for us. Bummer.

Our middle daughter's best friend had a bilateral mastectomy last week at age 34. The younger a woman is, the higher risk they have of the disease being metastatic.

Angie is probably in her mid-late thirties. Maria is maybe 10 years older.
