Yeah. I was in bed for a couple hours. The boy's room was beckoning, so I thought I'd log on for a couple minutes.

Now, I'm going to go back to bed and try to stay there for a couple more hours. No fires to put out here.

G'night, Mo.

Jeff and Tom,

So sorry to hear of your tragic news. Jeff, your friend's wife is at peace now. Tom, I will keep your friends in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my Mom to breast cancer over 40 years ago...she was way too young. She only got to see her grandchildren by smiling down on them from Heaven.

Mo,

I love the newly posted photos. The close ups at the Vietnam Memorial are wonderful. On the three Soldiers as the story goes...they are returning from patrol, top a ridge, and see the Vietnam Wall. The startled look in their eyes says it all.

The Nurses are Vietnam's unsung heroes. Many a Soldier today owes their life to a Vietnam Nurse. Heroes all!

In the photo of me, you got me doing what I do best...sitting on my backside ;)

Tom, I am wearing the Askew Signature Socks...white crew socks with gold toes from JC Penny's (the famour Fench Clothier) :) I always strive to make a fashion statement ;)

Maureen, those are wonderful! I love the one of Jim. He's so fun!

Morning to all! Happy Easter, right back at you, Jim! I went to bed around 1:30. We were cleaning and I mopped at 1. But this morning the sun came through my very thick shades, making me smile. It's a gorgeous day! Just wish it was 70 instead of 40 right now. :(

Maureen, we're going to Monticello next time you come. It was beautiful. And Annapolis. My friend is taking me there next week.

Okay, the Washington Post on Easter morning has a "PEEP'S" contest winners. If you log into the Washington Post you search for Peeps and you get the gallery. The finalists are genius! So funny. I hope everyone gets to see these today. I love the 9th one with the inauguration. Priceless!

Hey, Maureen. Did you ever get warm again? You are lucky you didn't come this weekend. It's freezing! The trees still haven't bloomed yet.

We lost Lois' mom to breast cancer a few years ago. It was hard to watch.

I wear Gold Toes, too. My favorite socks are some heavy duty (read: expensive) hiking socks, but I can no longer find them. I'm babying the last couple pairs I have. In the meantime, Gold Toes are just fine.

Morning to all! Happy Easter, right back at you, Jim!

We had a fellow who used to work for us, and to the best of my knowledge, he never said anything memorable, except one day he said, "The've cancelled Easter. They found the body." It's irreverent, but still makes me chuckle a little. I use it occasionally myself, mostly for shock value.

Her ankles are more of a fashion statement than yours, for sure. Make 'em any color you like.

Anyway, Happy Easter to you all. This is meant to be a day of hopeful new beginnings, and I wish you all the best that's implicet in that. Love you all.

Tom
