Speaking of food (my 2nd favorite subject ;))...I just got back from a client meeting over lunch. We went to a buffet restaurant...there was over 100 items on the buffet line...talk about a "target rich" environment

I'm stuff. I went to a buffet today as well. It's a $6.25 for county workers, and the money includes a drink. I go there at least once a week. I just found out on Tuesday that I'm getting paid for my coaching this year so it's another few hundred dollars for fun for me! I may just get the 100 macro or a 580II. The 5D works well with that flash and I can use the other 3 as slaves.

Oh, it's up. This is where I was last night:

It was the best concert I'd ever attended. The performers were amazing! It was worth the $40 for each ticket. And my ticket was free due to shooting for them.

Just got home from dinner at the Jackalope Ranch (no kidding).

So? Our favourite restaurant in Banner Elk is Jackalope's View (external link). with a view that seriously won't quit.

And we're in for another great winter storm... 8-10" of snow by Saturday morning, and then in the mid 60s by Tuesday :) It rained like heck this afternoon - gonna make for some fun roads in the morning. The snow is starting to stick now, and it is snowing like no tomorrow at the moment.

Yep, and we will get 2/3 of your heat by next week :) I am thrilled. That's the good thing about the weather this time of year - if it snows, it only lasts a couple days. Our blizzard two weeks ago created some huge drifts and they didnt last through the next week.

I just wish it was a bit greener here.

102! We'll see that in August. Tomorrow it will be 29 to 75 degrees. It's brutal on the plants.

Green and Wyoming are mutually exclusive terms ;)

In most cattle operations elsewhere in the country it is the numbers of cows per acre you can support. In Wyoming it is the number of acres it takes to support one cow :(

Good luck on snow today...send us a photo or two :D
