This is the stage at Carnegie Hall. This number was done on an Apple, all synthesized.

Suzie,

Awesome photos :) Please post some more!

Hey, Kathy! Good to hear from you. Let's keep in touch. I miss you terrible. I miss that great Texas accent of yours. :)

And the sandwich was excellent. I have to say, it was all I thought it would be, and about 1 pound more! :)

Thanks, Mo. I love my 70-200 2.8 IS. I can't say enough about it. The clarity of the shots and the IS makes the shooting very easy. And PSE6 is more than enough to do the little PP I had to do. Even at 1/100th, there were very few blurred images.

I haven't posted much in ages...mostly browsing 'cause I'm stuck at work...but Suzi...really, did you have to? I'm starving, finishing up a 12 hr overtime shift (I hear your complaints Maureen!!!) and my relief is late. This sandwich would be so completely perfect right now I'd probably fall asleep at the table after eating it!

:) I hope you are all doing well!! I miss you all!

Good Morning, Grace...good to see ya :) I hope all is well in the independent state of Texas ;)

Morning, Jim! I'm off to a math competition with my 2 sons. I hope we survive it. I coach grades 3-8 and I have 15 kids competing. I'm nervous and excited.

Wedding next weekend, Jim! :)

Morning, everyone.

We had tacos for supper last night, and I woke up at 4:30 in a general state of gastic distress. (I like the real hot sauce.) Looks like those days are a thing of the past.

Kathy....good seeing you!! I hope you can stick your nose in a little more often......all friendly people here except me, and I'm harmless.

Great pictures of the symphony, Suzy. Really.

JIM.......

GOOD MORNING!!

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Move to the desert. No snow. Very little pollen. Just lots of sand, and I don't know anyone allergic to sand.

Morning all. Had a great night last night with the misses. Getting ready to goto my son's first soccer game of the season. Hopefully get some good shots from it. Tom, the hot sauce will get you every time. At least they were good I hope. Well off for now.

It was fun! My nephew, Ben, is the tall Chinese kid 8th chair in the 1st Violin section. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime thing and I was so happy to get to shoot it. And with really good gear, too! How lucky can one get?

Thanks, Jeff for the CNN link. I think the Washington Post was one of the few that didn't like it. I thought their reporter was really clueless, though, not to realize that this is "a new way to spread the good stuff" and not meant to be anything like a masterpiece.

Thanks for the link, Jeff. I can now listen to the music as I play on POTN! It is a beautiful 79 degree day here and I won't be at the computer for long...my garden calls :)
