Morning! Mo, that picture is hilarious. After seeing that, I don't know if Ken will let me go see you next year to cover that. And I mean COVER that. :)

Morning, Jim & Tom and all!

I'm cleaning still, we're having 100+ people go through the house today for a farewell for one of my former students who is going to CA on a mission. His mom and I are Twilight fans and she's naming her new baby Isabella. How funny is that?

Mornin', Suzie.

Mission in California? Tough duty.:lol:

Any idea where they're sending him out here?

I love them for ground cover...I'll keep them thinned enough so that everything else grows above them.

I have been editing the Kilt Klassic photos and this is my favorite one... to me it says "I lost my what....where?"

Looks like he found it.....near the South Pole.

Arcadia Spanish Speaking! Very exciting. He's just the nicest kid! And he sings tenor. :)

Howdy everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I know I have enjoyed mine as I have not been called out since Friday morning.

I was able to take some photos today strictly for fun - and I have had this location in the back of my mind for quite some time. I'd like to go back again soon, but not during high noon. So, just for fun, here is what I shot today...

Amazing shots Jeff. Love old abandoned stuff. Makes for great shots and how things once were.

I remember when gas was $.59. That was the cheapest.

There must be well over 100 old gas pumps at this site. I don't want to give it away just because it's a little treasure of mine, and I am not done with it yet :) But this guy restores them and whatnot and I'd like to contact him to see if he has some real nice restored ones inside the shop. Pretty interesting stuff though.

Don't get me started.....

My wife drinks Evian water, which costs roughly $10.00 for 6 1-liter bottles. That's just a hair under 1.6 gallons @ a little over $6/gallon.

FOR WATER!!

What's really absurd is the French get it for free. The Almighty gives it to them from a hole in the ground.

I drink Stater Bros. water (a regioanal market chain), and I get my water for $4.00 for 15 1-liter bottles. That's roughly 4 gallons for $4.00. Even that is too much in my book, especially considering our tap water tastes pretty good.

Anyway, good morning, everyone.

I just buy the cheap wal mart brand 24 pack 20 oz bottles for $3.98. I dont know how many gallons that equates to because I am too lazy to do math right now - but I dont mind the tap water here as it's good.

Good morning everyone, it's Monday yet again. What a lovely week ahead:

Today it's raining buckets, but we need it. My french drain is working quite well, but the workmen will not be able to do much until Wednesday. I'll take some pictures for you guys later.

I don't pay for water often. We have a zillion great water bottles. I buy the best ones so my boys can use them for sports. And water at the field costs $1. That is hard to do 3 times a week, also bad for garbage at the field. Earth week, so we are very involved here.

My party ended at 9 last night. Great success. I had the busiest week in the history of the family. But all is good. How is everyone today?

Mike, good to see you.

Jeff, how's that cute baby?
