Howdy all. Been a while since I've posted (I haven't had much to say), hopefully that'll be changing.

Shot a wedding Saturday that was, um, interesting. I will never understand why members of the bridal party get drunk before the ceremony and remain drunk during the bridal party shots. One of them looked at my boss and asked her to lift up her shirt (in a more derogatory manner).

I was shocked to find yesterday that it's cheaper to buy a pre-built desktop from Dell than it is to buy all the parts from Tigerdirect. So, I'm ordering a desktop today.

Morning Chris. Why does that not surprise me about the lifting of the short. The last wedding I assisted on. the guy was dancing with his date and kept raising her skirt... nothing under the skirt and the kids were all around them. She didn't care either. The bride whispered in his ear and they left the floor.

I use pricewatch.com to build computers. I can't stand dell or a windows based product. I just have had to many bad things go wrong when I am in the middle of something important.

Good morning everyone, it's Monday yet again. What a lovely week ahead:

That sounds about perfect, Jeff. It's supposed to hit 102 here tomorrow, and almost that hot today. It will be back down into the high 80s by the weekend.

Today it's raining buckets, but we need it. My french drain is working quite well, but the workmen will not be able to do much until Wednesday. I'll take some pictures for you guys later.

We like pictures. Good morning, Suzy.

We've missed you Chris (well, at least I have.) How about some recent pictures of your little girl?

The situation with PCs has been true for quite a while. I wanted to put a PC together just because I like to build things, but when I found out what I could get ready-made, it didn't seem like such a good idea.

I think you will will probably end up with much better components, thus a better computer, but not necessarily better specs. I'm a Mac user, and I've always felt I'm overpaying for the hardware, but Apple does seem to use good components. I've yet to have anything fail other than an occasional hard drive.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I'm a MAC user as well. Should have said that "when" I used to build computers. I prefer my MAC over the PC's in the house and can't can't the ones at work. So slow. I have had an issue or 2 with mine, but they were caused by me but nothing to actually fail in the system as of yet.

See, I have the opposite experience. Every mac I have used has been utter crap and have failed on me when I've needed it the most. Never (knock wood) had a problem with windows based machines. Different strokes.

Dell wasn't exactly what I wanted but since my wife gets a discount on top of the sales they're running now it made the best sense. I'm going for most bang for the buck and I got a pretty nice system ordered that should last me until I can afford to get a dream system.

I'm uploading some more now. Been a bit behind on updating the photos.

She's crawling now, which is a riot. Frighteningly, she's now starting to pull herself up on the furniture. She turned 8 months yesterday.
