Hello all!

Congrats Mo and Skip! Very adorable baby! :)

Well as of about noon yesterday, I am officially homeless haha, we signed papers on the sale of our old house, but the new one isn't done yet, so we do not really have a house right now haha.

We move out of our house a week from today, and then hopefully the new house will be done just a few days later! Then we need to finish the basement, and I will have my domain back lol. I am excited I get to design/decorate the whole basement, which will be fun, I really enjoy interior design.

Plus I only have a weekish left of school, it is a stressful week, but still only about a week. :)

I wish we had basements here. They are very hand for all sorts of things. Sadly, only very old houses have them out here, and they usually have dirt floors.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Exactly haha!

Our current basement has my room, and a family room and a bathroom, so I can basically stay down there on my own, it is really nice, I am the only child left at home, so it is kinda my own little apartment. The new house will have this as well once the basement is finished, so I am happy about that, I need to have my own space haha, otherwise I would probably have to move out.

We actually have a small part of our valley here that's below sea level (Salton Sea area). If I really need an altitude fix, we have the tram that goes up to the top of mount Santa Rosa (around 8,300 feet, I think). Anyway, it's usually 40 degrees cooler up there.

I was the same way - I lived downstairs when I turned 15 or 16 I really can't remember - but it was nice. Had a kitchen (basically used for storage. I never cooked lol) a bathroom and a big room that is meant to be a family room that was my bedroom.

Yep it does, the window in my future bedroom is huge because they build the house as if you are going to finish the basement and put a bedroom there, so by code they have to put an egress in.

Brooke, homeless. Wow. Where are you living now?

Tom & Jim, salmon is great, especially in black bean sauce.

I just got back from Annapolis and had fun with my Pentax friend. We were only there for 2 hours and came back. It was nice to see a few things. We ate at a really nice place. I ate a whole plate of fries. I'm in trouble now. :(

Yep homeless haha! It is strange, it would be scary if I didn't know that it won't be for long.

We are still in the old house, even though we have closed on it, we don't move out until next Tuesday, then we will stay with my grandma for a few days until the other house is done.

Actually, I found this boat out in the middle of the desert, miles and miles from any navigable waterway. Its named 'Duck,' though.
